INVESTOR RELATIONS CO-ORDINATOR

Purpose of Role:
Co-ordinate and support the client’s Investor Relations activities with the financial community, ensuring the timely and accurate engagement with analysts and investors

Areas of Responsibility Competence Level:
Work closely with the Head of Investor Relations and senior leaders, supporting their activities in promoting the understanding of the Company’s performance and prospects to the financial capital markets
Manage the Investor Relations planner and ensure it is kept up to date with the latest information (scheduling investor meetings, sales desk presentations, sell-side meetings)
Assist in the management of Results, Annual General Meeting (AGM), Investor Relations database, Roadshows and sell-side events, including logistics, printing of presentations, webcast arrangements and rehearsals
Co-ordinate internal requests for information, investor presentations and other relevant investor material
Co-ordinate buy-side and sell-side meetings, including conference registration, targeting, logistics, preparation of briefing books, printing presentations, collection of feedback and, where appropriate, arranging follow up meetings. Ensure the Investor Relationsdatabase system is kept up to date with all investor meetings and feedback
Play a key role in the co-ordination and generation of the Annual Report with a particular focus on the Strategic Review. This will include liaising with the design agency, sourcing relevant commentaries from the Business Units and functions, ensuring the Reportadheres to best practice and organisation of photography where applicable
Assist in the generation of marketing material, including liaising with colleagues across the business to source information, co-ordinating with Joint Venture partners to gain relevant approvals and the financial public relations agency to ensure timely issueand upload of press releases
Assist in the production and timely submission of Investor Relations material for the monthly Board Reports, including generation of equity reports from the Investor Relations database system and collection of relevant data from the brokers
Work closely with Communications team to ensure the corporate website content (including media library) is kept up-to-date and in line with best practice
Able to develop a strong and broad network internally and externally to ensure alignment and consistency of messaging in particular Communications, Legal/CoSec, the Leadership Team and senior leaders across the client’s operations and externally with investors,analysts and brokers

Critical Skills, Qualifications Experience, etc.:
Can work well independently and in a team
Proactive, able to identify areas of improvement and capable of overcoming resistance to change
Highly developed client relationship and project management skills
Strong IT skills (Excel, Powerpoint)
Professional qualifications (e.g. Certificate in Investor Relations) or any other relevant discipline
Experience within the Oil & Gas industry and/or Financial Services (sell-side research, financial analyst) and a FTSE listed organisation will be advantageous
