**About The Service**
The Internal Audit Section is offering an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated individuals to join the team.

The team provides the Council with vital independent assurance on the effective, efficient, and economic use of resources, that good standards have been upheld and on matters of compliance and control. Services are delivered in accordance with the Public Sector Internal Audit Standards.

**About the job**

The job requires the post holder to be innovative, creative, and to assist Audit Management in promoting high quality service delivery and working practices.

**What We Are Looking For From You**
All applicants will need an enquiring mind, good communication skills and an ability to produce work of a consistently high standard.

You must be a full or student member of a relevant professional body e.g. CCAB, AAT, IIA and have knowledge and experience of auditing practices and modern audit techniques. Experience of internal audit within the public sector would be an advantage.
