Our audit team makes sure that the business is well controlled across the board. We bring a systematic, disciplined, and professional approach to risk management, control, and governance processes. And you’ll help us do this - conducting audits of our operationsand subsidiaries on a risk-based approach. Of course, any risks that are identified will need to be effectively managed, and through concise formal reporting, you’ll be able to assure senior executives and the audit committee that this is happening, whilstoffering recommendations for best practice.
- Responsible for performing credible and highly respected internal audit engagements across all business operations.
- These include performing all audit work to a high standard and providing assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management.
- Working on your own initiative or as part of a small team you will be responsible for delivering quality audits. This will cover supporting (and soon to be leading) the full audit cycle from planning and scoping to fieldwork and performing system or transactiontesting to provide assurance over internal control and risk management frameworks, through to reporting, meeting with management to discuss the testing results and agreeing remedial work to address the identified issues.
- You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with business management and looking for continual improvement opportunities within the IA team.

**About you**
- Your professional qualification such as a PIIA, MIIA, CIA, CA, ACA or ACCA, will be supported by audit experience, preferably in financial services.
- Because you’ll have to develop and maintain effective lines of contact with managers, staff, and other stakeholders, you’ll need excellent communication skills, both in writing and in person.
- You’ll provide on-going assurance of best practice within the company, so you’ll need to be both proactive and reactive, and confident speaking to executive directors, the audit committee and board members alike.
- From time to time, you may be expected to travel overseas, so you’ll need to be flexible in your approach to work.
