**Business Development Manager (Europe) - Software for the Manufacturing Sector
Salary negotiable depending on experience with excellent OTE
Based either in the UK or in Europe, remote position**
My client is a market leading supplier of software to the manufacturing sector. Specifically they deal with flat sheet and roll based manufacturers globally. They are looking for someone to join their business development team in Europe to maximise opportunitiesfor new business. If you have experience in sales within manufacturing and speak English and a second European language this could be a great role for you
**The Role**:
- Selling MES, trim optimisation and planning and scheduling software into manufacturing companies throughout Europe
- You'll need to self generate some leads but there is also support from a lead generator and fantastic marketing back up.
- This is a home based position, you can be located anywhere in the UK or Europe
- You'll carry out online demonstrations and will do a lot of work from your home base but you'll also travel to see clients for more complex deals and when required to finalise business.
- Order values range from £30k to over £1million and lead times can be quite long but you'll be picking up and managing a sales pipeline.
**The Person**:
- We're looking for someone who has a good understanding of the manufacturing sector, ideally having worked in sales.
- Alternatively you could have come from a role as a planner or similar where you've used this type of software and understand it but are looking to move into a sales role.
- We need someone who speaks fluent English but also a second European language
- You'll be a confident communicator, both written and verbally and be able to build strong relationships with customers.
- There will be travel involved in the role so we need someone who is comfortable travelling and staying away from home when required.
**The Package**:
- Basic salary is absolutely dependent on experience. Whilst the budget isn't unlimited, we understand this is a skills short market and want to attract the best talent.
- Commission is uncapped and paid on all sales including recurring revenue. There is also an additional commission rate for over achievement of target.
