**Quality Assurance Technician**

Are you ready to join the Independent Broker of year?

As part of our Quality Assurance Team, you will have an eye for detail and understand the issues that can occur if errors are made when looking after a client's insurance programme. As well as helping to maintain our standards well and truly above the competition, we need your eagle eyes and experienced insurance knowledge to help guide our customer service team through the ever changing and dangerous world of insurance broking.

**What will you do?**

We believe in delivering exceptional customer service, therefore its vital that you are fully engaged with the aims of the business. You will form a valued part of a dynamic team of experienced insurance professionals who will be helping to check the accuracy and professionalism of our team's work. This might be through the targeted reviews of specific parts our processes or Clients demands and needs, right through to a full review of the lifecycle of a New Business case or a Renewal.

**Quality Assurance Technician Role & Responsibility**
- Effectively review the quality and accuracy of the work produced by the Romero Customer Services Team using an agreed set of criteria
- Assimilate and understand the processes of our commercial new and existing business teams
- Be able to articulate clear and balanced insights to support constructive feedback and coaching by Managers, and any opportunities for wider improvement
- Feedback to the group training manager on any themes that may be developing from a Quality Assurance perspective so that we can prioritise our staff members training needs

**Skills & Experience Required**
- 10 years plus insurance experience dealing with the main commercial classes of business in a broking or underwriting environment
- Excellent written communication skills
- Basic IT Skills (MS Word, Excel)
- Enjoy collaboration to develop (working) relationships with a range of different personality types
- Excellent attention to detail
- A lively and enthusiastic approach to your work
- Good organisational skills and self-discipline to deliver within deadlines
- Keen interest in developing your knowledge to fully understand how Romero Insurance Brokers work

Location: Remote or office working

Hours: Full or part time - We are happy to be flexible to individual circumstances.

**Salary**: Up to £25K per annum
