We have an exciting opportunity to join the Linguistics sub‑department of our Translation team as a Quality Assurance Executive.As an ISO 17100 certified translation agency, we pride ourselves on delivering high quality for clients across multiple industries, with exceptionally quick turnarounds in 100+ languages.That's where you come inYou will play a key role in driving our quest for high‑quality content, working on a number of creative and diverse translation projects across multiple languages – completing final checks.The office is a multicultural and diverse environment, with a supportive culture where success is celebrated. If you have a passion for languages and translation, this is the perfect opportunity for youThe role:Fixed term (10 months), full-time (Mon-Fri) - 37.5 hours per week with a hybrid‑working policySalary: £24,000 - £27,500 (FTE)Completing quality assurance checks of language content in a CAT tool or other platform (e.g. omissions, punctuation, numerical values etc.)Contributing to the creation, development, and usage of assets such as style guides, term bases/glossaries, and non‑translatable listsProviding constructive feedback to translators from quality assurance checks in order to uphold standards and facilitate continual improvementRecording results of quality assurance checks in a variety of tools/softwareReporting on key issues arising at the quality assurance stage and identifying root problemsActively proposing solutions to drive improvement of content quality standardsSupporting Global Resourcing with the evaluation of freelance translation/quality assurance tests, through the content management systemAbout you:Excellent attention to detailStrong proofreading/editing skillsDemonstrable organisation skillsGood communication skillsTime management skills with the ability to work to deadlinesIT literacyAbility to effectively deliver constructive feedbackFamiliar with QA software/LQA modelsA driven, proactive mindsetFlexible in approach to workPassion for languageWhat we offer:33 days annual leave (pro-rata'd based on contract length), plus birthday offCompany training and events budgetWork abroad policy (up to 30 days per year)Industry-leading pension scheme (matched up to 7%)Value-led recognition prizesIndustry-leading family policiesHybrid, flexible workingCycle to work schemeLife assurance and private Bupa healthcareRegular team socialsEmployee discounts through PerkboxVibrant office environment with free weekly breakfasts and Friday drinks #J-18808-Ljbffr
