MLC are proud to be partnered with Look Ahead Care & Support in their search for an Interim Head of FP&A to cover a period of maternity leave.

Look Ahead are a housing association founded by Mary Jones, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary next year. They are a trusted partner of over 39 local authorities and health trusts across London and the South East, providing specialist support andcare services for around 6000 people every year with a wide range of needs. Their aim is to help their customers make individual choices, achieve goals, and take control of their own lives by providing tailor-made support, care, and accommodation services.

The Head of FP&A joins at a busy time, as the finance team have gone through a recent restructure and a period of growth, developing a great culture along the way.

Reporting into the Director of Finance, main responsibilities of the role include:

- Continue the development of a first-class business partnering service, supporting key stakeholders in their decision-making process.
- Deliver timely, accurate and insightful management information for senior managers and a variety of committees and boards, some of which this role sits on.
- Oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working with the team to ensure that stakeholders understand their budgets and are then held accountable for them. As part of this, looking for efficiencies and opportunities to streamline how the numerousbudgets are structured.
- Lead, develop and support a direct team of 5 as well as working with the FC to lead the broader finance team of over 20, ensuring there is good collaboration across the teams with well-defined objectives and a positive culture.
- Be fully qualified accountant, having led FP&A or business partnering teams in previous roles.
- Have a strong personality and excellent people skills to deliver the culture change required in this team.
- Be experienced in fast-paced environments, otherwise sector knowledge is not required.
