We at Go North East are the North East’s largest bus company and for over a century have been transporting people across the region. Overall, we have nearly 1500 employees and operate a fleet of over 600 vehicles. Our Customer Service Team play a key role in linking our business to our customers

**The Role**

A vacancy has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor to join our Customer Service Team on a fixed term (14 month) contract. The successful individual will be responsible for helping ensure we can provide a great service to our customers.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Ensure that issues / customer concerns are escalated to the relevant departments and to work effectively with other colleagues in the business to resolve complaints on behalf of the customer and to ensure customer communications are dealt with effectively.
- Provide information to customers around existing services. To support the promotion of the company’s services and products where required as part of marketing campaigns.
- To be aware of trends and common themes in complaints and make suggestions as to proactive measures to deal with future similar situations.
- Meet KPIs and service levels by working to agreed objects and deliverables.
- To help ensure that Go North East is at the forefront of customer service excellence by personally delivering excellent levels of service to our customers using effective communication skills and techniques to ensure they choose to travel with us again.
- The duties and responsibilities outlined above will not encompass all tasks which may be required of the officeholder and therefore the duties will also include all other reasonable tasks as directed by the business.

**Person Specification**
- Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills
- An ability to work alongside a team.
- Computer literate able to pick up new systems efficiently.
- A passion for delivering the highest level of service.
- Ability to meet deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 14 months

Pay: £26,451.97 per year
