Voids Manager

**The Role**

Due to our continued success here at Fortem, we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking an experienced Voids Manager to join our Birmingham Branch.

The role will be predominantly based at our Birmingham branch; however there may be a need to travel to other areas of Birmingham.

**The Project**

As the Voids Manager you will effectively manage the Voids department and team to deliver business improvement initiatives and compliance, and ensure operational compliance to Health, Safety and Environment polices to maximise productivity.

By effectively managing and developing staff, operatives and sub-contractors capabilities you will ensure the voids standards are met, and achieve the highest possible standards of quality, service and customer satisfaction.

**Essential and Desirable Criteria**

Essential:

- Proven people management skills
- Knowledge and experience in exercising financial control of significant budgets
- Relevant professional construction qualifications
- Knowledge of H&S legislation and statutory requirements including COSHH and IEE regulations
- Working Knowledge of CDM and Building Regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Professional approach with high standards
- Positive 'Can do' attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

- Project Management experience
- QS Background
- Social housing experience
