**Jewson,**a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a part-time **Customer Service Assistant**to join the team in our **North Shields**branch who's as passionate about great service as we are.

**_Hours _**_: Permanent, part-time contract for 4 hours 8am-12pm on a Saturday - additional hours will be available during summer months and busier periods _

**_Location _**_: Jewson, Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate, Narvik Way, North Shields NE29 7XJ _

**_Key Responsibilities _**

In this role you'll be part of our customer service team - stocking the retail area, pricing stock, answering the phone and assisting customers. This is a key role in the whole branch operation, especially on a Saturday.
- Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
- Get to know our product lines and services
- Develop great relationships with new and existing customers
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders and payments
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy - unpacking deliveries and stocking shelves
- Carry out stock counts, replenishment and rotation in the retail area
- Providing great customer service, face to face and over the phone
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
- Make Health & Safety a priority at all times
