The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP).
The site area coordinator will work closely with the physical area coordinator and the workface construction manager to manage and coordinate the safe and smooth running of a designated work area on the project. This role includes supporting the coordination of resources to drive the completion of work and ensure the identification of issues or potential delays. Work closely with discipline leads and physical area coordinators to support work requirements in line with schedule demands.
This is a plant facing role and the site area coordinator will be responsible for working with the workface construction manager to ensure quality and health safety requirements are always adhered to. The site area coordinator will be the person accountable for the allocated work area.
Provide regular updates and feedback to the workface construction manager, installation leads and physical area coordinators on all construction activities to support construction meetings and reports.
**Here’s What You’ll Need**:
- Experience of management on multi discipline construction coordination.
- Experience in the successful delivery of multi-discipline operations within a Nuclear licenced environment is preferred.
- Experience in the management of front line workers.
Personal and Professional qualities and experience:
- IOSH Managing safety or SMSTS
- Significant supervisor experience, preferably multidiscipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Risk Assessment, Mitigation & Management
