Our group is made up of two trading companies, Silver X and Bow Distribution and our passion is to provide the best service possible to our clients at a fair price, hiring, nurturing, and promoting the best talent and striving to maintain a fun, friendly, non-corporate work environment, giving our people the best chance of achieving success. **Why we need you?** As a transport planning lead within the group, you will be expected to effectively plan 25 vehicles daily with our local deliveries, whilst ensuring maximum service and profitability for the business is met. You will also be the first point of contact for our drivers during the evening debrief process. Your duties will include - Delivery planning using a TMS - Route Optimisation & Delivery of KPIs - Vehicle key management - Fuel card management - Resolving daily vehicle defects - Completing KPI reports While you will be expected to uphold our core values and key performance indicators, its vitally important that we nurture and develop your skills should you wish to progress within the group. We certainly want you to own your area of responsibility so a can do, lead by example approach, is a must. You will be involved in everything from job allocation and planning of the fleet, making sure all deliveries and collections are carried out with fleet utilization, Customer Service & profitability at the forefront of your planning, administration, resourcing and debriefing returning vehicles, ensuring all assets, stock and paperwork are in order and everything is ready for the next day.
