This is an exciting new role for an experienced Transport Administrator to join to the Richford Motor Services team in Alfreton. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for all accurate fleet record keeping, ensuring we always remain legally compliant, also ensuring vehicle paperwork and records are obtained, stored efficiently to meet all legal requirements.

Some of the main responsibilities of this role will be to check transport invoices including weekly fuel reports, carry out daily completion of driver check’s and rectifying any actions needed, download Digi cards, work with the fleet managers to schedule HGV/LGV maintenance and MOT's, undertake licence checks, complete accident reports with drivers, manage our tracking system. You will also be required to liaise with suppliers, take control of our fleet and ensure all vehicles are compliant for the various ‘Clean Air Zones’ around the country and that all fees are paid to enter these zones, including the London Congestion Zone and all toll roads.

This role requires someone with experience in a similar environment who is used to Roadside Vehicle Recovery legislation. You will need to have strong IT skills, particularly MS Office experiencing as producing and updating reports is a key element for this role. We work in a fast paced ever changing role so you will need to be able to manage your time well and carry out multiple tasks at the same time.

Although based at our Head Office in Alfreton the role will require visits to all of our other depots, you will have use of a pool vehicle to undertake these visits.

This role works 40 hours per week between 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working to meet the business needs.
