We now have an exciting opportunity to become part of an established and high performing team as our new **Transport Supervisor working hours 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm**

**What will you do?**

A challenging role which will involve the day to day management of the front desk transport operations, applicants must be able to demonstrate a strong transport Background ideally with experience of managing drivers discipline and appraisals.

The applicant must be dynamic and prepared to challenge current work practices to assist in reducing transport costs. They must have a positive outlook and the ability to effect driver behaviour and MPG improvements through the one to one driver feedback process.

**Key responsibilities;**
- Deputise for other Management as and when required and ensure adherence to EU driver rules and regulations
- Ensuring drivers have been briefed/debriefed have correct documentation, daily management of that driver including training and H&S management.
- Monitoring vehicle temperatures, managing late/failed deliveries, managing breakdowns and other issues throughout the shift to ensure successful deliveries of orders to customers.

**What will you bring?**

You must be flexible in terms of working across functions and shifts within the transport team and be prepared to complete appraisals and disciplinary’s. Ideally applicants will have CPC National or be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of driver’s hours and operator’s licence legislation.

**Key skills & attributes;**
- Previous Transport Supervisory experience
- PC Literate with strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to work
- Strong knowledge of driver hrs and operators licence legislation.
- Excellent geographical knowledge
