**Job description**:
This is an opportunity for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual in a key role within the Southwest Region which requires an ability to deal with sensitive matters and handle the expectations of customers.

The job is varied and provides an opportunity to improve relationship leadership skills whilst working collaboratively with DIO colleagues, Industry Partners, our customers and other Stakeholders

You will work collaboratively with the Industry Partners and the end users, delivering successful outcomes as part of a team enabling DIO to ensure satisfactory outcomes;this is an exciting role with wide ranging requirements and plenty to engage your interest

This role plays a significant part in the delivery of services to our customers on a day-to-day and strategic basis focusing on optimising the use of and management of all property, buildings, and workplaces.

**Person specification**:
Responsible for providing support to the Regional Team in delivering the Command Infrastructure Development Plan (CIDP) Billable Works Programme for the South West, with a focus where required on Defence Estate Optimisation Programme (DEOP)

Consolidate CIDP Tracker updates from programmers and programme delivery managers, draft business cases in line with CIDP delivery.

Prepare business cases for the award chamber, support the SEO Core programmer to prepare sub-IPPG packs.

Research and provide Management Information to support Customer Engagement Meetings, Finance Data and IP tracker and other Ad Hoc requests received by the team.

Progress tasks through the Information Management System (IMS).

Conduct regular engagement with data stakeholders to ensure all delivery outputs are met and communicated accordingly.

Support the Core Programme Manager to ensure in-year and strategic programmes are prioritised and communicated effectively.
- Work with DIO Site Delivery staff on projects and be the first POC for any issues.
- Maintain the Business Case Register and Forward Approval Plan. Liaising with the PMO and CAPMO personnel to support the Area BC submission.
- Monitoring and updating of risk.
- Assist in the ratification of the CIDP for future years.

A full UK Driving licence is desirable as public transport may not be available. Some overnight stays may be required.

**Employment Hours**

The post advertised is for 37 hours net, however the Ministry of Defence offers flexible working to enable a better work-life balance for employees.
