Operational Resilience Lead
- The Resilience Lead reports to the Head of Service Management, and will lead all Resilience, BCP and Incident Management activity across MS Amlin Business Services (ABS).
- The role will ensure that MS ABS is able to deliver its services in line with regulatory expectations for all impacted entities within the MS & AD group.

About The Job

What you’ll spend your time doing:

- Developing and owning a resiliency framework to ensure appropriate management of resiliency risk, ensuring full integration of incident management, BCP, Operational Resiliency, and upcoming resiliency regulations
- Developing strong and productive working relationships with key Resource Owners to ensure they understand their resilience risks and have controls and processes in place
- Becoming a valued business partner for legal entities and functions, providing resilience and continuity advice to deliver a seamless resilience framework, in line with regulated entities’ wider Operational Resilience strategy and appetite
- Working closely with legal entity and function stakeholders, providing opinions and views on the status of resilience controls to ensure service continuity and customer protection
- Supporting the production of annual self-assessments of resilience controls performed within allocated Business Services

What you’ll need:
For this particular role there are some important qualifications and experience we need you to have. These include:

- Demonstrable knowledge of industry standards and best practice in Resilience disciplines including supplier resilience
- Solid working knowledge of risk management
- In depth understanding of Operational Resilience and the step-up from traditional Business Continuity practices
- Exposure to process mapping and management
- Knowledge and experience of implementing resilience planning tools
- Combined demonstrable experience in senior positions in one or more of the following areas: Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management and Communications
- Confident and effective in advising and briefing at all levels, including C-Suite client stakeholders
- Strong communication skills displayed through confident interpersonal, public speaking and presentational abilities
