**Role Overview**

This is a hands-on role working alongside experienced bench joiners, where you’ll play an essential part in the preparation, handling, and processing of joinery components. You'll help to keep production flowing by taking on important workshop tasks that support quality and output at every stage of the process.

It’s a great opportunity for someone with a strong practical mindset and a keen eye for quality, who wants to work in a structured, high-standard workshop environment - with scope to learn and grow over time.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare, move, and handle timber components through the production process
- Assist with sanding, cleaning, and finishing operations
- Carry out basic assembly support and component prep
- Work closely with joiners to ensure jobs are completed on time and to specification
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Collaborate with other operatives at each stage of production to maintain continuous workflow
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in productivity and quality
- Previous workshop or manufacturing experience is beneficial
- Good practical ability, with attention to detail and pride in your work
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- A team player who communicates well and supports others
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Health and safety awareness
