RPS Energy has an opening for an Operations Coordinator to join their Explosives Engineering Services (EES) team.

The Operations Coordinator will manage the operational manning, logístical and administration requirements for the Explosives Engineering team international projects. The role holder will provide support and assistance to the Operations Project Manager throughout the entire project lifecycle from initial contact to closure. Other duties will involve assisting the EES team with management of project accounts for Associates, third party suppliers and Clients in addition to management of all travel requirements for the EES team and all Associates and visiting Clients.

RPS Explosives Engineering Services has a comprehensive grounding in all aspects of ERW (Explosive Remnants of War) and explosives clearance and risk assessment, with experience operating both in the UK and globally. This team supports clients by addressing both liabilities and health and safety requirements associated with detection, clearance and remediation of areas with explosive ordnance and / or Land mine legacies.

The RPS EES core team has extensive experience within both commercial and Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA). The EES specialise in the general assessment, needs analysis, project management, Mines / UXO awareness and QA/QC of contaminated land accompanied with experience in actual Landmine / UXO clearance and indigenous capacity training projects globally.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Provide support and assistance to the Operations Project Manager throughout the entire project lifecycle from initial contact to closure
- Management of manning requirements for EES projects
- Organisation and booking of Associates Travel, accommodation and other logístical requirements, UK and International
- Completion and submission of Project documents
- Welfare support for Associates during deployment on projects
- Create and develop operational support with Associates, clients and other relevant personnel
- Organise and coordinate training sessions including any travel arrangements
- Maintain a well organised electronic filing system in accordance with company requirements
- Management of project accounts for both Clients and Associates in association with RPS Accounts team
- Provide direct support to the Director as required
- Management and booking of team travel for meetings, conferences including Visa’s where required
- Update Associate and staff schedule and Project boards
- Quality check and proofread reports / project documents and add appendices
- Follow up of projects and enquiries with clients, update proposal tracker and file management as appropriate.
- Writing and completion of ITT, PQQ, reports and other relating documents.
- Supplier selection and management
- Assistance in Quality Assurance (QA) within the team, including the preparation of annual audits

**Who we’re looking for**
- The role requires prior understanding of project administration.
- We expect the role holder to bring strong administration and coordination experience with prior experience of travel booking including flights, hotels and visas.
- It will suit someone who is highly organised, methodical and solutions-orientated.
- Solid experience in MS Office suite of products including Office 365 is a requirement
- You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritise workloads, multi-task and maintain high quality output/s
- It is expected that you will have a good attention to detail including sound numerical skills and be a strong communicator.
- You will be confident to build and maintain strong working relationships and demonstrate a customer-centric attitude and an explicit understanding that there are external and internal clients
