**Job description - M&A Assistant**

Within this M&A Assistant role, you’ll be reporting directly to the two M&A Directors, working and learning from them on a daily basis. The firm have generated hundreds of M&A leads for you to pursue through outreach and attending meetings with the directors.

You’ll be involved in the full M&A lifecycle from deal origination though to the completion, working with their CFO on ongoing M&A projects once the deals have been successfully sourced and won. The role is designed for you to learn and develop on the job and grow in responsibility as you establish yourself within it.

**Key responsibilities - M&A Assistant**

- In this M&A Assistant opportunity, your responsibilities will include:_
- Your role will be to work closely with our directors and the team, to support them in the management of M&A and office functions. This includes:

- Calling established prospect database to create meetings for the Directors.
- Cold Calling Accounting Firms to offer Outsourcing and M&A opportunities
- Speaking with prospect M&A clients to gauge feedback and obtain updates as required
- Target 40 call per day, 2 meetings created per day.
- Maintaining and updating the CRM System (Microsoft Dynamics))
- Assist with the compilation of daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Ensuring meetings are set up and coordinated as appropriate
- Organisation of directors / associates travel arrangements
- Research and data input will also form part of the role.
- Number of administrative tasks to ensure the efficient running and maintenance of the processes internally

**Job requirements - M&A Assistant**
- A dynamic Self Starter
- A 2:1 University Degree (ideally economics/finance related but not a necessity) or relevant experience
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Word
- Outlook. (CRM training will be provided)
- Dynamic, energetic, assertive besides excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Target oriented, able to handle deadline pressure, self motivated, must have ability to function with limited supervision at a demanding pace.
- To be successful in the role, you will need to have a strong sense of organisation and ideally some sales and project coordination experience
- You will be comfortable multi-tasking, as you will likely be meeting deadlines, gathering data and generating reports simultaneously.
- You will need to be adaptable in your communication skills, as you will be in conversation with a variety of people (both internal and external) and will need to tailor language accordingly.
