**Role Requirements**:
- Experience in a similar care coordinator role is desirable
- Hit the ground running with transferable skills
- QCF Level 3 needed or commitment to work towards
- Due to the nature of the job, driving is essential for this role
- Have a passion for caring and motivation to make a difference
- Be adept at organising and communicating rotas
- Knowledge and understanding of a planning software system
- A professional manner and real enthusiasm for the delivery of care
- Reliability, flexibility, hard work and honesty
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multi-task
- Adapt quickly to emergency situations and make changes as necessary
- Ability to work as a key part of a Team offering support to others
- The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Allocating carers to their assigned service users
- Completing rotas that are sent out each week
- Be knowledgeable of the local area
- Maintaining excellent communication with your team and service users
- Support and develop carer workers ensuring they are motivated and happy
- Stepping into the role as care worker when the need arises
- Managing the on-call service on a rostered basis
- Support the day-to-day running of the branch
- Ensure compliance with CQC through rotas, records and reports
- Accepting new packages and integrating them into the rotas
- Forward planning for training days and annual leave of care workers
