**Are you passionate about enhancing a child or young person's life?**

**Would you like to progress your career by working with children who require complex clinical care?**

We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one-to-one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a pre-schooler who lives in a loving family home, with her parents and younger sibling in Blackburn.

She is a happy and content young girl who thrives on interaction with her family and care team, particularly when engaging in playtime activities. She loves to play with musical toys, enjoys listening to music and watching cartoons on TV, especially Mr. Bean.

Your role as her dedicated Healthcare team will be to support her within an education setting during term time and at home during non-term time. She will also require support at home during the night.

She has recently started to learn Makaton to improve her communication with those around her, so it is important that you can understand and interpret her methods of communication.

We would ideally like our applicants to have some knowledge of complex and clinical care, however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months’ previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling

**Desirable Experience**
- Ventilation Management
- Gastrostomy Care (PEG)
- Nebuliser Care
- Physiotherapy

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time Days
- 2-3 shifts per week
- 8am-4pm
- Term Time
- 9am-4pm - Non Term Time
- Part Time Night
- 9pm-7am
- Monday-Friday only

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weekdays £13.00 per hour Approx. £104 per 8 hour shift

Weeknights £13.50 per hour Approx. £135 per 10 hour shift

Bank Holidays £14.50 per hour Approx. £116 per 8 hour shift
