Apollo Home Healthcare are looking to recruit Healthcare Assistants who haves genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support a teenage boy on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis.

Our service user lives with his loving family in Blackburn and requires dedicated individuals to support his needs throughout the nights.

He is a happy smiley boy who enjoys listening to music and looking at bright colours. He likes to spend time with family out of the house and when at home he will relax in bed while he watches TV. His favourite programme is Horrid Henry. Our service user also loves to use his iPad.

He communicates in several different ways, and does so through facial expressions, noises, eye movement and emotion. Making noises to gain your attention is another way that he can communicate. It is important his care team can anticipate his wants and needs.

**Essential Experience required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Positioning
- Medication Administration

**Desired Experience**
- Gastrostomy Care
- Epilepsy Care
- Oral Suctioning
- Nebuliser Care

**We can offer the following shifts**
- Full Time Nights
- 30- 40 hrs PW
- 10pm
- 8am
- Monday - Friday
