We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.

You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is an interactive 5-year-old girl who lives in a loving family home in Blackburn and requires support with her complex care needs throughout the night.

She is a happy and content young girl who thrives on interaction with her family and care team, particularly when engaging in playtime activities. She loves to play with musical toys, enjoys listening to music and watching cartoons on TV, especially Mr. Bean.

Throughout the night you will provide support with her personal care, repositioning, being vigilant to her care needs, make clinical observations and attending to her clinical care needs when required. You will provide a peaceful environment, offering comfort and reassurance when needed to promote a restful night’s sleep.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following**:

- 3 months’ previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling

**Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role**:

- Ventilation Management
- Gastrostomy Care (PEG)
- Nebuliser Care
- Tracheostomy care

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time Nights - 2 Shifts Per Week
- 9:00pm - 7:00am
- Alternate weekends are essential for this position

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weeknights: £14.50 per hour (Approx. £145 per 10-hour shift)

Saturdays: £14.50 per hour (Approx. £145.00 per 10-hour shift)

Sundays: £15.00 per hour (Approx. £150.00 per 10-hour shift)

Bank Holidays: £16.00 per hour (Approx. £160.00 per 10-hour shift)
