South Kensington, United Kingdom Imperial College London Full time

Are you an experienced marketer with a creative approach to engaging an audience?

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a content marketer who is looking for a new challenge.

Working within the central marketing team at a global top 10 university in central London - the only one in the UK to specialise solely in science, engineering, medicine and business (STEMB) - play a key role in our mission to recruit the brightest and best students from across the world.

You’ll work with partners across the university and develop cross-channel content marketing plans to engage our target audiences, which includes prospective students, parents/carers and teachers/counsellors.

You’ll also plan and execute a wide range of content marketing campaigns, generate and source new digital content and manage the production of printed publications, large and small.

Our work is exciting and ambitious, connecting students with STEMB courses that can open doors to new experiences and fantastic careers at the end of it.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
A little bit more about the role:

- Plan, prepare and manage the creation of printed marketing collateral including our annual undergraduate and postgraduate study guides.
- Create and source engaging content for a variety of marketing channels including websites, social media, publications, and lead-generation marketing campaigns.
- Manage project budgets.
- Liaise day to day with key internal partners, agencies and freelancers including photographers, designers and printers.
- Analyse, review and test marketing publications, campaigns and content to improve effectiveness and results.
- Regularly report on metrics through presentations to relevant stakeholders and managers.

**Note**: while we do support flexible working, this is not a fully remote role - a minimum of 40% of your time at our office on our South Kensington Campus will be required.

**Essential requirements**:
What we’re looking for:

- A good understanding of key marketing principles
- Experience of planning, executing and evaluating content-led marketing strategies that include digital content and print collateral
- Strong ability to turn technical content into compelling marketing copy
- Experience of using marketing analytics tools/software and using the insights to inform future changes
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle opposing priorities
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to form effective working relationships with people at every level of the university

You don't necessarily need to have worked in Higher Education before, but you do need a passion for it. Previous experience of working in a fast-paced marketing role and an ability to pick up new tools quickly are also desirable.

**Further information**:
Full details of the job can be found in the Job Description.

This is a full time and open ended position, and you will be based in the South Kensington Campus.
