M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions is currently looking to recruit a Breakdown Controller based in Castleford.

As Breakdown Controller, you will ensure that unplanned maintenance events are handled in accordance with current Service Level Agreements and that the business delivers a “best in class” customer experience, whilst minimising Plant & Vehicle downtime through effective management of internal and external resources.

**As Breakdown Controller your duties and responsibilities will be**:

- The effective management of both internal (owned assets) and external (x hired assets) breakdowns, logging response times and ensuring that they're tracked and handled to a suitable conclusion (within agreed SLA times)
- The effective management of both internal (owned assets) and external (x hired assets) defects, logging response times and ensuring they're tracked and handled to a suitable conclusion (within agreed SLA times)
- Ensure that inbound and outbound calls are managed in accordance with current Service Level Agreements
- Updating and managing the JobWatch scheduling system
- Ensure that Purchase Orders are transacted in a timely manner
- Updating IT systems with information as required
- Adherence to Policy and process, and working methods
- Storage of documentation as required and work with all members of the compliance and service teams to develop the operational solution
- Follow compliance and service process and procedure as directed
- Rotate job role function as required

**Skills and Knowledge Requirements**:

- Plant and vehicle technical background
- A high and detailed level of plant and vehicle product knowledge
- Capability to take ownership and responsibility
- Strong commitment to delivering high standards of customer service
- Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure to strict deadlines
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
