**Open Ended Contract - Permanent; Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.**
We are seeking a well-organised and experienced administrator to provide support for research and knowledge exchange activities. The post is part of the MHSES RKEI Office and is aligned with the Centre for Research in Education Inclusion and Diversity (CREID) and designated research thematic hub(s).
**The Opportunity**:
The post holder will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of CREID and research thematic hub(s) alongside the Centre Director and Hub lead(s). The role provides general administration, event organisation, communications, administration of research project grants in liaison with the RKEI Office and general financial administration including the management of transactions, maintaining financial records and the preparation of regular reports.
**Your skills and attributes for success**:
- Experience of routine financial administration including monitoring and reporting of financial information.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use initiative and judgment to resolve problems, to quickly learn and master new processes
- Strong IT skills in MS Office especially Excel to produce a range of work documents and reports.
- Excellent written communication with experience of producing external communications across a range of media.
- Knowledge or experience of event planning.
