Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a **Project Manager - Delivery Management** for a **(6 Month)** contract based remotely with travel to either London or Swindon

**Purpose of the Role**:
A Delivery Manager supports the day-to-day management of complex change initiatives throughout the full lifecycle. You'll be supporting the Delivery team from inception through to close down; scoping, planning, managing, and delivering on initiatives.

This role will use appropriate frameworks, tools and techniques to plan and deliver change initiatives, adapting approach to manage complexity and drive out safe delivery at pace, while delivering towards the overall change team Objectives and Key Results(OKRs) and managing the expectations of stakeholders. The role will lead the way as a facilitator who helps and supports the change team to perform at their best, follow the scrum process an agile values and practices typically for medium to large sized changeinitiatives/projects or programmes.

**As a Project Manager - Delivery Management you will be responsible for**:

- DM will work closely with business change manager to oversee 2 workstreams
- Manage workstreams and teams, develop and maintain Plans
- Identify key milestones and dependencies for inclusion in the Master Project Plan.
- Identify communicate and resolve Risks and Issues; Assess Change Requests, Manage internal and external suppliers
- You'll have an in-depth comprehension of the time, quality and cost involved in multiple initiatives; responsible for considering factors such as business readiness, release management, demand management and the implementation.
- You'll also be responsible for the assessment of the outcomes linked to the initiative, ensuring that they will be fit for purpose within the business, meeting the needs of our members and employees.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills and ability to prioritise.
- Knowledge and experience of business change
- Good stakeholder management, negotiating, influencing, motivational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience of working within a complex change management environment.
- Strong technical experience with a proven track record of delivery.
- Experience of supplier management / engagements and working alongside partner resources.

**Desirable**:

- Detail focused.
- Ability to grasp complex issues quickly.
- Knowledge and experience of working with a combination of Agile and Waterfall methodology's
- Knowledge and experience of business change and readiness processes.
- Clear, concise, and timely reporting with the ability to use Jira, Confluence, and other relevant tools to support this. Excellent understanding of Jira and Kanban.
- Experience of working within multiple delivery and governance frameworks successfully to ensure that relevant standards are adhered to whilst keeping to often tight delivery deadlines.
- Knowledge of current technology trends and fundamental understanding of the Banking technical platform to include MicroServices, Apigee to support Open Banking
- A passion for learning, embedding and embracing new ways of working and doing the right things for our members
