You will be responsible for scoping and delivering a key strategic project to introduce consistent and efficient processes and ways of working across the organisation.You will have a strong background in Payroll & HR project management, change management, and process optimisation. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated leadership abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.Key Responsibilities:Finance project leadership, to lead and manage the Payroll & HR project from start to finish, providing tactical oversight and ensuring its successful delivery.Conduct a comprehensive review of existing payroll systems and processes.Identify opportunities for streamlining and automation to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer service.Document the current 'As Is' state of payroll processes and outline the desired 'To Be' state, including well-documented financial controls and a clear route map for implementation.Ensure all process, policy and knowledge documents, including training and communications, are created and maintained.Lead and develop team members in finance transformation thinking including digital capability.Support negotiations with external parties as required for the project's success. Contribute to the development of a compelling business case that outlines the benefits and returns on investment.Embed new processes, people & technologies into the team as needed.End-to-End Project Implementation: Oversee and coordinate all activities related to project implementation, including build/configuration, testing, parallel running, data migration, communication, and training.Proactively identify and escalate any project-related issues and risks to the Director of Finance Transformation. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address and resolve these challenges effectively.RequirementsEssential Skills and Experience:All-round Payroll Lead with a deep and diverse understanding of payroll processes, regulations and best practices.Proven track record in managing end-to-end payroll operations, from data collection and processing to tax compliance and payment distribution.Demonstrable experience in implementing and integrating HRIS and payroll software systems.Proficient in working with various payroll systems and software, showcasing the ability to adapt to different platforms and streamline processes efficiently.Experience in implementing and integrating payroll technology solutions is a plus.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve high-performance levels.
