Serve Talent have teamed up with a dynamic and successful machinery business that are looking for a Service Controller to work within their depot in Leighton Buzzard. This company have been going from strength to strength over the last forty years and continueto exponentially expand. They place their focus on providing world class customer service to the industrial industry and understand the importance of looking after their employees.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Service Controller to join a friendly and innovative team and will play a key part in the pre-delivery inspections of the machinery. Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will be ensuring that all proceduresand safety precautions are adhered to at all times. This is a customer facing position, where you will be assessing job priorities and assigning them to the Engineering team. It will be your responsibility to ensure that work is carried out on schedule.
What you will be doing
- Providing excellent customer service
- Building positive relationships with the customer base
- Answering incoming calls efficiently and processing them
- Liaising with the parts and service departments
- Ensuring Service Engineers are utilised to keep machine down-time to a minimum
- Accurate raising of job cards
- Updating the customer on machine repair progress
- Raising warranty claims with the warranty team
- Invoicing of internal accounts
- General administrative duties
