**Customer Service Assistant**

**From £19,000 with generous holidays and other benefits**

**MedicAlert is the Medical ID charity providing lifesaving jewellery and service for our members. Based just outside Leighton Buzzard, we are currently seeking a customer service assistant who is looking for a new challenge working for a small and friendly organisation.**

**Our working hours are Monday-Friday 8.00-15:30. This role is based in the office however strict COVID measures are in place to ensure safe social distancing.**

**This customer service role is interesting and varied and would suit someone who enjoys helping people, is organised and creative. Full training will be provided to allow you to be involved in all aspects of fulfilling customer requirements including**:
**The Role**
- **Onboarding new members through various channels, primarily over the phone**:

- **Engaging, managing and renewing the records of existing members**:

- **Advising on most appropriate medical ID jewellery**:

- **Working alongside a team of nurses to ensure we store the correct information**:

- **Other duties include post, scanning, collation and stock control**

**The Person**
- **Experience of working in a customer service role, preferably dealing with multiple channel enquiries**:

- **Experience in retention of members or customers**:

- **Experience in sales**:

- **Demonstrates a genuine passion for speaking to customers and answering queries**:

- **Enjoys being part of a team**:

- **Excellent attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy**:

- **Computer literate, including experience of using G-Suite/MS Office**:

- **Excellent listening and questioning skills, with the ability to extract detailed and relevant information**:

- **Ability to use own initiative and work within defined procedures**:

- **You will need your own transport**
