**Senior Developer**

The purpose of the design department is to utilize their extensive knowledge of the end user to create brilliant responsive designs and enhance site features to improve the customer journey and revenue to the business.

You’ll be working in a dynamic, fast paced, gaming studio, within a team of creative, energetic and enthusiastic people who want to challenge the establishment and build the best gaming platform out there. You will be involved with helping the business tooptimise our approach and maximise the return on investment.

**Responsibilities**

You will be required to take ownership of your projects and see them through to completion, including:

- Site maintenance and bug fixes
- Conducting market research to ensure the company’s brands remain current and that new ideas are being generated
- Using your expertise to translate designs into robust cutting-edge code that is written using methods that follow best practices
- Working closely with the Lead Developers and Project Managers to provide accurate estimates for project delivery
- Identifying any concerns/blockers within a development sprint and bringing to the attention of the Lead Developers with solutions to assess / prioritise
- Supporting developers in protecting code quality and ensuring that our products are robust and thoroughly tested before going live
- Working closely with the developers to champion and define our tech standards
- Involvement in key meetings, reviews to interrogate from a technical delivery / timing standpoint
- Passionate about creating beautiful web experiences and actively engaging with team members in the wider agency to this end
- Researching and promoting new technical innovations that will be beneficial to the business by educating and inspiring the rest of the agency
- Bespoke CMS driven development, In-House development tools to improve front End/Backendworkflows and process:

- Module components
- Module Development
- Re usable code and scalable
- Multi GEO, Language and jurisdiction development logic

**Essential Requirements**
- Commercial or Start Up experience in a similar role with Development/MVC/Reactive Views/Bespoke CMS driven sites
- Examples of work demonstrating commercial use of CMS, JavaScript frameworks jQuery and Vanilla JavaScript, Bonus but not essential to have understanding of Vue or React.
- Demonstrable understanding of working with APIs and RESTful services
- Understand basic CSS frameworks, pre-processors, styling concepts such as SASS
- Deep understanding of CMS methodologies
- Knowledge of Data structures, XML, JSONnoSQL and SQL
