We have a new opportunity for a **Material Controller** to join the fabrication team, based at our site in **Andover**.

As a material controller, you will support the Stannah Stairlift Manufacturing by ensuring that productivity is at its most efficient with regards to part availability.

You will be responsible for delivering parts at point of use and returning empty Kanban bins and trolleys to their designated area.

You will be able to demonstrate that you can work in a proactive way, with good teamwork.

Ideally you will have worked in a modern manufacturing environment and worked to tight deadlines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Take full ownership of steel/steel shed. Putting away steel, booking in and out
- Filling bins for plated parts that don’t need processing, ensuring plated parts are booked in/out and distributed to relevant location on time
- Ensure plated parts are delivered to the correct location in readiness for dispatch
- Transport parts to and from sites.
- Transporting the Rail shop cage daily to and from site.
- Take part in the annual stock take

**Minimum Requirements / Qualifications**
- Forklift License is desirable
- Full driving license is essential
- Computer literate - Excel, Word
- Good standard of basic education
