Material Control and Distribution Operative – AndoverStannah Uplifts, part of Stannah Group, is seeking a permanent, full-time Material Control Operative to join the team at a brand-new factory in Andover. The role is based in a manufacturing environment with Standard Operating Procedures in place.Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00.Eligibility: Candidates must have unrestricted right to work; sponsorship is not offered.What You Will Do:As a Material Controller, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of material movements and storage, including checking deliveries and placing incoming orders around assembly lines correctly. You will pick products according to specific customer requirements and prepare them for shipment.Material Control Responsibilities:Follow standardised operating procedures and ensure adherence to safety protocols.Receive and book goods into the correct location.Collaborate with team members to optimise efficiency.Maintain a clean and organised work area.Deal with stock discrepancies or quality issues efficiently.Ensure the dispatch sequence is completed within the required dates.Contribute to replenishment of line-side stock.Participate in continuous improvement activities.Material Control Requirements:Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Health and Safety awareness in a warehouse environment.Company Overview:Stannah Homelifts is a leading innovator in the homelift sector, dedicated to providing top-tier residential lift solutions.
