Stannah have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Material Coordinator to join the Material Control Department based at our Watt Close Manufacturing Site in Andover.

This job will involve providing a vital support service to ensure production runs smoothly by minimising downtime across all manufacturing cells. Working closely with Purchasing and Operations teams, you will make sure all materials and parts are ordered, received, booked in, and distributed accurately and on time.

As the Senior Material Coordinator, you will work 42 hours a week, Monday to Wednesday 07:00 to 16:45, Thursday 07:00 to 13:00. This is a permanent position.

Senior Material Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Ensure all deliveries (inventory and non-inventory) are checked, booked in, and distributed accurately and promptly.
• Complete daily forklift checks and ensure safe operation and storage of equipment.
• Order and monitor externally supplied materials to maintain stock levels and support production.
• Investigate and resolve delivery discrepancies, returns, and stock anomalies.
• Participate in cycle counting and annual stocktake activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in material flow, inventory control, and waste reduction.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and adhere to all Health & Safety procedures.

Senior Material Coordinator Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or materials coordination role.
• Forklift licence (or willingness to train and obtain).
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
• Good computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office; knowledge of KBM or Ofbiz is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Physically fit and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
