We have a great opportunity for a Materials Controller to join our Microlifts and Platform Lifts Team in Andover.

As a Material Controller your role will be to manage material stock levels within the warehouse.

To be successful in the role you will be need to be proactive in auditing and checking stock locations to help ensure parts are available to pick, pack and ship Microlifts and Platform lifts to site 100% OTIF.

You will be able to demonstrate that you can work in a proactive way, communicating with suppliers to resolve any issues.

Ideally you will have worked in a stock controlled environment within a manufacturing facility.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Raising Purchase orders and stock control via Ofbiz to maintain stock levels within the warehouse
- Responsible for ensuring all unit costs for all components are correct and all components have barcodes
- Arranging and agreeing with main suppliers what is to be delivered for each main collection and chasing suppliers for overdue orders
- Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory and minimise costs
- Write and maintain accurate written procedures for all inventory control processes and functions
- Ensure works orders are correct and fully completed and that all stock has been allocated to the job correctly
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system
- Working to the delivery schedule to ensure complete lifts are ready for dispatch
- Reviewing sales order demand vs. stock on hand
- Post installation requirements and checks
- raising PO’s for additional components before the commissioning of the lift and dealing with the material request and also raising non conformances where appropriate

**Qualifications**:

- Good IT skills - Word, Excel, Outlook
- GCSE/A Level in Maths
- NVQ 2-3 Customer Service
- Detailed understanding of inventory control / management systems (MRP ideally)
- FLT Counter balance and Reach licence
