**Salary: £17,956 - £18,704 per annum Term Time Only + benefits + overtime (FTE £20,130 - £21,687)**
**Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4pm (35 hours per week), term time only, 40 weeks per year + 12 weeks holiday**

**What we’re looking for**:
The young people within our specialist education setting have profound and complex learning difficulties and disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, sensory impairments, and communication disorders.
**To be successful in the role you’ll need**:
- Experience within a care or education workplace setting is not essential for this role, although would be beneficial.
- Firsthand experience of either complex needs, learning disabilities, sensory impairments or autistic spectrum conditions.
- Enthusiasm, determination and resilience
- Empathy and self-awareness
**Learning Support Assistant Role Outline**:
Based on site at RCM, Cheadle Hulme, you will work on a one-to-one basis supporting the day-to-day learning of the students within the college and providing any other support they may require through the day.
Assist the teacher with planning and preparation of resources and programmes including differentiation for the individual needs of learners in the class/group
Actively support all students in the full range of curriculum activities across the college/school
Work with students with Autism, multi-sensory impairments, physical disabilities, severe learning difficulties and those with non-verbal communication needs to enhance their communication skills, social skills, ability to think flexibly and to problem-solve.
