**Location**: Cheadle, Greater Manchester
**Type**: Full-Time
**Working Hours**: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you have a strong desire to contribute to their educational development and well-being? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as a Learning Support Assistant.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with children with SEND in a supportive and inclusive educational environment. Your primary role will be to provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them overcome challenges and access the curriculum. You will work under the guidance of experienced teachers and SEND professionals, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide individualized support to students with SEND, helping them engage with learning activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a tailored learning plan for each student.
- Assist with classroom management, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their self-esteem and well-being.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching staff.
- Support students with personal care and mobility when necessary.
- Promote inclusion and celebrate diversity within the school community.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working with children with SEND is desirable but not essential.
- A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An understanding of different learning needs and the ability to adapt support accordingly.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and safe learning environment for all students.
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
**Salary**: £90.00-£95.00 per day

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)

- Driving Licence (preferred)
