**About the Trust**

In this role you will be located in and working across an area with all the benefits of country living with the convenience of big city life.
**What you will be responsible for**
- Assist the clinical team by carrying out weight, height, blood pressure, pulse, BMI, blood glucose, blood ketone and urine checks as required.
- Download information from blood glucose meters, continuous glucose monitors and insulin pump devices using a variety of diabetes related platforms.
- Teach blood glucose monitoring under the guidance of a registered practitioner.
- Maintain accurate documentation using RIO and other diabetes specific data bases and platforms.
The role will involve, but not limited to you performing the above.
**You will have the following qualification/experience**:
- A minimum of 6 months experience of working as a Care Support Worker in a UK hospital environment with either a Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care in the last 2 years OR
- 12 months experience of working as a Care Support Worker in a UK hospital environment in the last 3 years.
- Recent administration experience.
- Undertake regular mandatory training.
**Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.**
