**Summary**:
We are looking for a Head of Energy Compliance & Risks to join a SAAS Technology company providing services to Energy suppliers and other interested parties in the Energy arena.

As the Head of Compliance & Risks, you will be responsible for **ensuring everything we build, and services offer to clients are compliant with all regulations and obligations faced by our clients. This role will assess and mitigate risks of regulations and obligations, and manage their changes, to provide advice to clients and other stakeholders, and to inform plans of delivery of services.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Adhere to regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant energy regulations.
- Stay updated with new and changing regulations, evaluating their impact on the business.
- Monitor and implement compliance programs to developments of services offered ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance and identify areas of potential risk for continuous improvement strategy.
- Participate with key stakeholders as part of regulatory audits or continuous improvement measures, to provide advice, recommendation and to responds to inquiries when appropriate.
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with various regulatory and obligatory requirements.
- Prepare regulatory reports and filings as required.
- Share best practises and knowledge with employees and clients on regulatory requirements and implications.
- Maintain records and documentation required by regulatory agencies for the business or on behalf of clients when required.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Previous experience in a compliance position, preferably within the energy or utility sector.
- In-depth knowledge of energy regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated project management and self-directed work capabilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

**This employment package**:
**Salary**: £55k - £80k DOE

**Term**: Full Time and permanent

**Location**: Hybrid and may require travelling to clients’ location

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £55,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
