What You’ll Be Doing Leading compliance across safety, quality, environmental and operational areas Keeping the business legally compliant and audit‑ready Managing frameworks such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025, COSHH Translating regulations into simple, workable processes Running internal audits and supporting external ones Supporting managers and frontline teams to embed compliance Reporting key risks and improvements to senior leadership Driving a positive, practical compliance culture Why This Is Ideal for Service Leavers Many military roles already develop the skills this job needs: Working to strict procedures Managing risk and safety Leading and influencing teams Maintaining standards under pressure Understanding governance and accountability If you’ve completed NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar qualifications, you’re already ahead. What We’re Looking For Strong understanding of compliance, safety, or governance NEBOSH/IOSH (or working towards it) Great communicator able to influence at all levels Organised, detail‑focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities Willing to travel across UK sites Construction or engineering experience is helpful but not essential — training and support available.
