An opportunity has arisen for **Learning and Development Lead** to join our HR Team in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. Working with the Head of Learning and Development, this is a predominately a demanding, operational training role. As the function progresses, the role may migrate towards a more focused development/talent role in time.

**Job role**:

- Working with the Business Partners and business heads to identify and priorities short and long term training needs identified as part of the performance process.
- Oversee the creation and ongoing management of the WAE competency Training Matrix
- Support the pathway creation and work with the admin to ensure these are monitored and managers supported to identify training needs
- Manage HV quals and their renewal
- Source and Co-ordinate the organisation of all training requirements and professional/vocational qualifications
- Liaise with and evaluate current training suppliers
- Locate and engage with any future training suppliers to meet future and present needs
- Evaluating the best approach to training delivery in terms of cost and effectiveness
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the programme and establish ROI/ROE measures
- Work with the wider HR BP team to design and then deliver bespoke programmes
- Monitor training processes, systems, documents, policies, and procedures
- Maintain and develop the Graduate programme, including tracking their progress towards Professional Institutes
- Support the standardisation of the Graduate programmes across the business
- Support Apprenticeship programmes, including recruitment, induction, and other initiatives
- Support the interns and work experience programs to ensure that we have a clear structure
- Assist with audits, both internal and external
- Curate and develop the LMS
- Ad hoc duties as required

**You’ll have**:

- CIPD or similar training qualification desirable, we will support the right person in gaining CIPD membership
- Good experience within a Training / L&D role
- Broad knowledge of Learning and Development
- Able to work in an operational environment
- Exceptionally organised and proactive
- Facilitation experience very desirable
