J W Colpitts & Co Ltd is a small Engineering and Building Maintenance company based in Blyth, Northumberland
We are looking for an Administration Assistant to work as a part of a small team providing day to day administration support
**Duties involve**:
- Carry out general administration tasks including, but not limited to, data entry, photocopying, printing, scanning and shredding, along with picking up other administrative elements for the persons you support
- Answering and directing telephone calls to the appropriate members of the team and responding to queries where required
- Processing purchase invoices and delivery notes
- Organising filing systems and updating office database
- Maintenance of records and any other trackers
- Arranging training, business travel, accommodation and any other associated admin
- Ordering office equipment, housekeeping and any other supplies
- Any other duties as instructed
**To be successful in this role you will**
- Team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised with good administration skills and attention to detail
- Good time management skills to manage competing priorities
- Computer literate with good data entry skills
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive business and personal information with discretion
**Full training will be provided**
**Pay: Dependent on experience**
**Driver’s licence is desirable but not essential**
Working hours:
Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm
Friday 8am to 3.30pm
**Job Types**: 1-year fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: £10.42-£12.00 per hour
