This position is based on site at Springtown for one year to cover maternity leave (could extend further) and will provide extensive interaction with Seagate’s Human Resources (HR) & Talent Acquisition teams, executives, and hiring managers in all areas of the business throughout the Springtown Offices. (Sales, Engineering, IT, R&D, Marketing, and Finance, to name a few).
This role involves solving organisational challenges with people-related solutions aligned to our core values, while showing a commitment to provide a great employee experience for our employees through all phases of their careers. This role will be responsible for supporting managers and employees across the organisation.
We are a dynamic and fast paced organization, supporting 24 X 7 manufacturing operations and development teams. We are looking for a colleague who is excited about trying new things and offering a creative yet efficient approach to people programmes, training, and carer development.
**About the role - you will**:
- Be a true Talent Advisor to the business and HR teams, while coordinating and supporting recruitment programs for internal and external vacancies across the Springtown, Derry, UK region.
- Partner with hiring managers to fill roles in the following skillsets: Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering and other roles on-site.
- Partner with hiring managers to help build compelling job descriptions and robust assessment materials aligned to our Behavioral Based Interviewing (BBI) framework.
- Build strong relationships HR colleagues across the Springtown UK and AMEA sites.
- Maintain agreed metrics.
- Prepare data-based offer proposals based off market data, compensation ranges, internal equity as well as skills and experience related to the role.
- Advertising - manage job board /Seagate careers advertising ensuring adverts are compelling and accurate and positioned for maximum effectiveness.
- Work closely with colleagues in HR Central to manage interview and offer processes.
**About you**:
- Possess excellent administration, communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
- Effectively build strong and effective relationships, across all levels in the organization.
- Demonstrate exceptional business intelligence.
- Strive to be consistently positive and always professional.
- Be highly adaptable, given the diverse nature of projects and stakeholders across the region.
- Strong critical thinking skills.

**Your experience includes**:
- Previous Talent Acquisition / Recruiting in NI would be ideal.
- Proven TA, HR, or Office Administration skills (2+ years.)
- Applicant Tracking Systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred) and comfortable with data reporting.
- Creating data-based offer proposals.
- Proven Excel, Word data reporting.
- Able to write job descriptions / job advertisements.
- Great Customer Service Skills
- Good time management and organisation skills.
