Accounts Administrator

**Overview**
Hours 20hrs to 30 hrs per week negotiable and depending on requirements at the time
**Responsibilities**
- Manage accounts payable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Sage
- Reconcile bank statements and assist in month-end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with audits as required.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounts and financial transactions
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting software or upgrades as necessary.
- Assist in the ongoing communication with customers and supplier as necessary
- Other office and admin duties as required
**Experience**
- Proven experience in an accounting or administrative role is essential.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with suppliers, customers and other staff
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.50-£16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
