Area: Business support - HR Resourcing

**Reports to -**Head of HR Resourcing

To manage the Resourcing Business Partnership Team within Resourcing function in HR to ensure the effective and timely provision of resourcing services to Permanent Professional staffing, Finance, HR and Procurement creating a positive image for the businessas an employer.

Direct reports 6 or more

**Key Accountabilities**
- **Workload planning**:Ensure all work in the team is effectively planned and executed ensuing optimum use of resources and timely delivery to internal and external customers alike. for the above areas.
- **Sourcing**: Drive direct sourcing and talent acquisition in the respective business areas to engender more strategic approaches to resource planning and thus optimise the process ad minimise the need for fire fighting and support the adoptionof best practice throughout these business area.
- **Long-Term Talent Needs**: Work with the businesses to identify long-term talent needs and make plans to resource these is a strategic and well
- ordered manner.
- **External Spend**: Manage external spend, including PSL, to ensure this is in line with budget and that the company is obtaining appropriate value for money.
- **Process Improvement and Optimisation**:Regularly review operating processes in the teamand drive process improvements activities to realise quantifiable benefits.
- **Metrics and KPIs**:Design put in place and monitor appropriate metrics to ensure effective performance and continuous improvement in the work of the team.
- **Management Support**:Provide general support to the Head of Resourcing in the fulfilment of their management duties and contribute to the overall optimisation of service provision by Shared Services
- **Team Management**:Manage the Resourcing team to ensure clarity of accountability and that the team is appropriately resourced, skilled and motivated to optimise its contribution.

- **Relationships**: Manage relationships with key stakeholders and applicable third parties in relation to resourcing activities to facilitate effective working.

**Desirable**

Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Business/HR/Professional or Learning and Development areas.
