A housing association is looking for an Older People Services Team Leader to join their team Based in Letchworth. This will be on a 12-month FTC. You will be someone who is passionate about housing and joining an excitingly progressive organisation, you willrelish the challenge of delivering services in a new and changing landscape
**Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the Older Peoples Service including a Senior Housing Officer, Administrator and Retirement Living/Flexi Care Housing Officers.
- Manage the Panel Process of incoming customers to ensure mínimal void loss, building effective pathways into the Older People Service.
- Manage the organisations relationship with key stakeholders including Herts County Council, District Councils and Care providers.
- Budget Holder responsibility for all areas of the Older People Service.
- Working collaboratively across specialist teams to support our customers to sustain the right homes for them.
- Manage all housing management issues and work closely with the Customer Contact Centre, Customer Support Team, Estate Services and Neighbourhood Teams to provide a joined-up service for customers.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- A proven ability to lead, motivate, develop & manage a team
- You will have strong neighbourhood management experience managing across tenures.
- Experience of the management of a team, including some or all of; income maximisation, housing management, ASB, knowledge of retirement living, temporary accommodation, working with vulnerable customers and tenancy sustainment.
- Proven ability to maximise rental income, using flexible and innovative approaches
- Up to date knowledge of housing law
- A passion and commitment to providing great customer service & a high performance culture
- **UK Driving licence and access to vehicle for work.**
