Analytical & Purification Development Scientist

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Development Chemistry Team as a Analytical and Purification Development Scientist.
**The Details...**
The role will involve:
- Complex biomolecule purification and process development.
- Developing scale up and scale out strategies.
- Analytical method development, primarily in CE, HPLC and LC-MS.
- Designing biomolecule components for improved performance, scalability and quality.
- Developing in process functional testing of key components.
- Technology transfer to both internal and external manufacturing teams.
- Managing multiple projects in a very fast paced and agile environment.
- Working and communicating effectively with other groups in Development, Applications, Research and Production.
**What We're Looking For...**
The role is open to positions from entry level through to Senior.
- BSc or MSc in chemistry or biochemistry.
- PhD would be preferable for a more senior position.
- Ideally some relevant industry experience.
- Experience in developing HPLC, CE, LC-MS is essential.
- Experience in complex biomolecule separations is strongly preferred.
- Experience with downstream process development, optimisation and scale up is advantageous.
- Proven ability to work well both individually and as part of a small team.
- Proven ability to work well in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of organisation.
- A desire to learn and build on the role
