DCB Legal has a number of brand-new Administration Associate roles which leads to become a Litigation Support Associate upon completion of the short probationary period. This is an exciting opportunity suitable for enthusiastic individuals who want join one of the UK’s top Litigation Companies in Runcorn.

Your role will consist of managing responses to letters of claim sent by us and to progress a caseload of claims to the start of the Court Process. The main aim is to work with customers to pay their debts and avoid the costs associated with the litigation process, in line with business and client parameters. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your workload within an established team of dedicated legal professionals.

**What you will be offered**:

- A base salary of £22,000 per annum - OTE £25,000
- Promotion to Litigation Support Associate after 3 months

- Working hours: Monday-Thursday 9-5pm, Friday 9-4pm

**Key Responsibilities of the Administration Associate**:

- Handle inbound correspondence on pre-legal files to ensure cases progress
- Agree and monitor payment arrangements
- Review and collate client and Court documentation
- Review the prospects for each case and reach a conclusion in the best interest of our clients
- Risk assess cases to identify potential issues, highlight to the relevant stakeholder
- Liaise with clients and Court for updates in relation to claim progression
- Facilitate Small claims Mediation
- Identify relevant enforcement on Post Judgment cases
- Ability to adhere to strict client confidentiality at all times

- Ideally have legal, debt, or collections recovery experience, not essential as full training is provided
- Be positive with a ‘team player’ attitude
- Be able to work autonomously
- Be confident making decisions in line with the client expectations and best interests
- Have the ability to work in a methodical and organised manner
- Have the ability to pro-actively manage your time and caseload
- Have a high attention to detail
- Have a willingness to learn and work to deadlines
- Have the ability to cope in a busy and fast paced working environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
