**Key Responsibilities of a Compliance Associate**
- Conduct thorough investigations into queries received by the Data Protection Office, gathering relevant information and documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments and external parties, such as collection agents and regulatory bodies, to address and resolve queries related to personal data.
- Document all interactions and responses accurately in the company's compliance management system.
- Identify root causes and trends in requests and recommend process improvements to improve efficiency within the department and wider business.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and company policies throughout the process.
- Completing administration tasks on our case management system such as placing cases on hold where Breathing Space has been applied.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Must be IT literate with Word and Excel and qualified to at least GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent). Will be updating and maintaining case files within a bespoke IT system
- Comfortable working within a team and alone
- Self-starter and Self-motivator are key characteristics for this role
- Precision and attention to detail is a must
- A polite, positive and professional telephone manner is required taking enquiry calls and directing to the relative departments and individuals
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced office environment
