**About us**
We are professional and innovative Cheshire-based private psychology service, offering therapy, assessment, consultation, supervision and training across the northwest, UK and internationally.
The post will be primary home-based initially until the business transitions to new/additional local premises, after which there will be an expectation for primarily office-based working.
**Salary**: £25k _pro rata (20 hours per week)_
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage clinician schedules, including appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and reminders.
- Coordinate and maintain clinician calendars, ensuring efficient time management and mínimal scheduling conflicts.
- Prepare and organise materials for therapy sessions, workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Assist in the preparation of psychological assessments, reports, and treatment plans, including typing and proofreading various documents, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with ethical standards.
- Liaison with clients and their supporters (e.g. family members) to arrange appointments, provide the necessary intake forms and associated paperwork prior to any sessions
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Handling complex information which could relate to client cases, policy or the practice as a whole
- Help manage the psychologist's online presence, including updating the Practice website and social media profiles.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries for conferences and professional development events.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth practice operations and a positive patient experience.
- Provide general clerical support to the office
**Essential**
The post holder must be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience as a personal assistant, administrative assistant, or in a similar role is **essential **(in a similar psychology/counselling/medical field is )
- Previous experience in a finance role with Accounts Payable and accounts receivable responsibilities is **essential**.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office and scheduling tools.
- Understanding of ethical guidelines and confidentiality responsibilities.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information, with a strong knowledge of data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, with strong customer service skills
- Empathetic and compassionate attitude towards clients and their needs.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive demeanour.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £25,000.00 per year
